2-1 Vietnam-Japan Workshop: Re-structure of Water Resources Sector
|
Vietnam-Japan Technical Workshop on Re-structure of Water Resources Sector was held in Ha Noi, Vietnam on December 18, 2015.
The workshop was based on the MOU (Memorandum on Cooperation in the field of Water-Related Disaster Management and Climate Change Adaptation)
between Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and Japan' s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) in Sep. 2013.
About 150 people from the two governments and private organizations attended.
Vice Minister Hoang Van Thang of MARD and Vice Minister Toru Doi
of MLIT gave the opening addresses.
Water resources management in Japan as well as problems and countermeasures of sand beach erosion were explained and discussed.
