1. IFNet held a joint session on "Reducing Vulnerability to Floods,@Droughts and other Water-related Disasters" at the 2nd SEAWF@in Bali, Indonesia
IFNet co-organized the session, "Reducing vulnerability to floods, droughts and other water-related natural disasters" held on August 31, 2005, with the Mekong River Commission (MRC), the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). This session was highlighted as the only one dealing with water-related disasters at the Forum. For details please refer to the link below:

2. FLOOD INFORMATION - Bangladesh

Torrential rains over past few days have caused severe flooding in five northern districts of Bangladesh rendering thousands of families homeless and damaging standing crops in vast areas including seasonal vegetables. For details please refer to the link below:
